Review:

This book really left me guessing.  When I thought it would go left it went all the way to the right.  I always love books like this because you just don't know what's going to happen next and this is how I felt about Meeting Destiny.

It completely started out sounding like a YA Contemporary then it quickly switched to a YA Paranormal, and yes then it turned into a Suspense/Mystery all still being a sort of love story.  Like I said it kept you wondering.

Lauren was at work, doing her regular thing at the register of the local Burger fast food place when someone walks in that she just doesn't feel comfortable with.  She's always had a sixth sense sort of thing towards people and today was no different.  She just knew this person was danger.  Turns out he comes in with a gun ready to rob the place and Lauren jumps in front of the guy before he goes to shoot a young kid.  She has no clue what is happening as the guy flies out and ambulance are called.  She seems to be in shock, but in denial as well.  She's the one who was shot.

In the ambulance she meets her Destiny ... Max.  She's been dreaming about him for years, but never thought she would actually meet him.  This is when all things start to fall into place.  She's finally met her destiny, her best friend/boyfriend is now put on the sidelines eventually kicked to the curb but for good reason, they aren't meant to be.  Her best friend sees this guy who she is completely enamored with but Lauren finds this guy to be trouble.  Turns out he is, but then again maybe he's not.

Everything seems to go into a whirlwind where Lauren tries to piece everything together to figure out who did what and why she had to second guess herself with the guy her friend is liking.  It turns into a bigger mess and still Lauren is always in the middle of it.  The detectives just can't help to wonder about their new town hero.

This book again it was really good.  I couldn't put it down I just had to know what was going to happen next.  The characters were really great.  The love sick puppy boy next door slash ex boyfriend, the new comer in Lauren's life her Destiny as she tries to unlock his secrets and make him remember all they are to each other.  The funky friend who is very free spirited.

I think my favorite part of this book was experiencing all this through Lauren's eyes, she doesn't want to be the hero at all, she's just trying to "stick to her path".  You will really enjoy this book it's a must read.  Make sure you also check out the second book in the series Destiny's Revenge where Lauren's story continues after an ending you didn't expect to happen in Meeting Destiny.

I don't know, I get a little scared of changes. I like my routine but I would be scared and excited at the same time. Honestly, I would like to say I would embrace it but I probably couldn't
