Musing Monday: Bookstore Path

MUSING MONDAYS… is a weekly event where MizB at Should be Reading will ask a book/reading-related question, and you answer with your own thoughts on the topic.

This week’s musing asks…

When you walk into a bookstore — any bookstore — what’s the first section you head toward (what draws you)?

I go straight to the young adult section, and then check out the new books that have come out.  I have an ereader but it's always nice to touch and feel and smell all those pretty new fresh off the press books. That's my genre, it's what I like.  I always look for the nicest covers first (yes I know don't just a book by it's cover, but it's hard not to sometimes with all the great covers out there).  After the young adult I will go to Journals, I always think they are so pretty but way to expensive for my tiny wallet.  But there is something about the smell of leather and empty pages that makes me go hmmm with a big sigh.  Like one day someone will get me one lol.

It is great to see a book before I buy it for my eReader. Thanks for dropping by to see another predictable blogger.

I love browsing the journals, too. I think they make great gifts.

I like browsing journals, too. I bought one and it took me forever to write in it because somehow, I didn't want to mess it up. haha.
