Booking Through Thursday.
This weeks question is:
What was the most emotional read you have ever had?
This one is easy for me. I don't know why I was reading this, if it was for the movie or what but when I read A Walk to Remember I literally cried my eyes out. I don't know if I was just referencing the movie when I was reading or imagining everything more than it was but this book was great and I cried more than I did when I saw the movie. It's just so sad and tragic I get that lump in my throat right now. I loved that book. Now mind you I wept through the Notebook to and for some reason I just can't bring myself to reading the book. But Nicholas Sparks he's like guaranteed to make you cry. Don't you think?
Another honorable mention is Jenny Han's Summer Series. I cried throughout the whole series. You know maybe I'm just emotional person and cry for everything ha ha either way both author's are great with emotions.
How about you what is your most emotional read?
Nicholas Sparks is great at evoking emotions...thanks for sharing.
Here's MY THURSDAY MEMES POST
I have Nicholas Sparks as my answer, too. http://meganm922.blogspot.com/2012/08/booking-through-thursdaysniffle.html
Nicholas Sparks has that ability to make us cry!
Here is my post!
I'm the total opposite when it comes to books. Books rarely, if ever, make me cry.
A Walk to Remember, the movie, made me feel a bit weepy too. I liked Mandy Moore and Shane West in it.
I actually did a Book To Movie comparison a few weeks back of A Walk to Remember. While I loved Mandy Moore's performance the movie is different than the book. Both made me cry though lol.
Thanks for stopping by my BTT and sharing yours.
I think A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, and Message in a Bottle are Nicholas Sparks' top 3 best books. Nothing else he's written has ever hit me as hard. I liked the movie adaptations, too.
Here's my response: Five books that punch you in the heart
