Review:
I didn't think this series could get any better but it did.  There is a total cliffhanger at the end of this book.  But who doesn't have a love hate relationship with cliffhangers.  Again this was written greatly and the continuation of the Greek mythology just expands with each book that is written.  Aimee Carter has definitely moved to the top of my favorite authors list.  Let's see what the book is about.

Kate is now on her way back to Eden Manor to become the Queen of the Underworld.  All the while James is on a mission to remind her that it is her choice if she wants to change her mind.  But she's determined to make this work because she is in love with Henry.  During the coronation, all hell breaks loose literally lol.  The entire places starts to rumble and off they are to find out what happens.  All the meanwhile Kate is distraught in that Henry hasn't shown her any affection since he's been back and this just deters their meeting after her six months of being away from him.

Turns out that Calliope has awoken one of the strongest Titans who is out to destroy everyone and everything for them capturing him and locking him up.  Henry and the others rush to try and keep him from completely breaking through his prison.  That is where Calliope is found and she has them tied up.  Meanwhile James Ava and Kate are on a mission to try and save them.

The King of the Titan attacks them and in that moment Kate tries to bargain with him and they make a deal that if he doesn't harm them then she as Queen of the Underworld will help release him.  Of course she's practically a newborn so she doesn't know what she's doing but there is one person who knows where and how to open that prison.  Persephone.  The one person that Kate does not want to have to ask for a favor.  Not after she has damaged Henry emotionally and she still feels as if she is being compared to her.

They eventually find her and still there is a tense aura between the two of them, Henry's past and present.  Their meeting has their highs and lows, but they are related and its something they will have to work through.  They are successful in releasing the others that were tied up by the prison but still the King is on his way from being released.

There were a lot of tense moments between Kate and Henry which made her seem very repetitive in her wanting him to love her.  There were some intense fighting between them, mostly Kate yelling and Henry just trying to be as stoic as possible.  You felt for her, all she wants is him to express himself.  Sometimes that's hard for men, especially ones that are eons old and doesn't know any better haha.

This book was fabulous and that cliffhanger ugh, I wont' talk about it because you have to read it for yourself but ugh when is the next book coming out?????

Have you read this?  What did you think?
