Review:
You can Check out my Review here, but here's a preview below.

This book was a breath of fresh air. I love mythology but never have I read anything in depth about Centaurs before and that's what this book was about. It was a wonder and joy to read about them and their different customs and of course the history of their mythology as told by the author. I loved every minute of it, I couldn't put it down and now I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next.

Review:
The next chapter in the lives of the Centaurs was not a disappointment at all.  Once I started reading the book it bought back memories of the first one since I read it a while ago and I remember all the action and mythology and fell in love all over again.  This book was a great continuation to the saga that is the lives of centaurs.  Nancy Straight knows how to bring you into her world and want to live in it.
Spoilers if you haven’t read the previous book!
Now that Cami is free from her grandmother she’s off with her chosen Drake in search of some help from her old relatives in Ireland, which will later bring her to South Dakota to find her long lost twin brother.  There isn’t much mentioned of him in this book as it focuses on Drake and Cami’s relationship but I can’t wait to find out more about this mysterious twin who seems to have known more than he is leading on.

There is some great action in this book as it is really packed with fights and old drama along with some special guests from the heavens above.  It kept me at the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next the entire time.  It was all very exciting to see how much they believe in all their old customs and ways.  Sometimes I just wanted to throw caution to the wind and tell them just go for it, go hide somewhere where no one will find you, but the characters feel too much loyalty and the need to do the right thing.
Watch out counsel because here they come and they are bringing the big guns.

Centaur Rivalry

Review:

This series just gets better and better, I don’t know why I waited so long to read all these books but I’m so happy I’ve finally picked them up again thanks to this great tour.  Nancy Straight is just brilliant and kept me anticipating every moment in this book.  I didn’t think it could get any better, but it definitely has.

With the introduction to new characters such as Jessica and Katherine, and the growing love that Drake and Cami have for one another there is no chance you can even consider putting this book down.  Daniel is ever hilarious and charming.  We are still in South Dakota hiding out from the Centaur Counsel Enforcers, when something happens to Drake, it’s a glorious thing that I can only imagine, but you will have to read to find out what it is.

There is still so much action in this book and throw in a good flirtatious background love story and of course the everlasting love of Drake and Cami.  I’m telling you at some points it definitely made me have some glassy eyes from the near tears that were going to fall because it was so heartbreakingly beautiful in so many ways.  There is a lot of family interaction too, and let’s just say how much I hate Zandra, there is something wrong with that woman and I can’t wait to see her be taken down by her own granddaughter.  I’m telling you, it better happen.

Before they can go to meet with the counsel Cami and Drake finally tie the knot because their anticipation of each other was even killing me.  Talk about hot, hot, and hot.  You can just feel the tension between the two and it’s exciting.  Again Nancy does an amazing job with these characters definitely bringing them to life and giving them some substance.  They are not two dimensional and you definitely feel for the characters as you get completely invested in their lives and their fight and their cause.  Go team Lost herd!

Off to find out what happens when they final encounter the ever empowering counsel and the evil chairman (aka grandma lol).

Review:

This was to put it simply one of the most perfect endings to an amazing series I’ve ever read.  There was a little bit of everything in this book and then a little more.  Nancy Straight is a brilliant writer who should definitely not be overlooked.  She can bring you into a world and make you want to live in it; I can literally see the different scenes as clear as day and you will not be disappointed in any way other than that it has come to an end.

We are all gathered together at the counsel as Cami and her family is going to take their final stand against them but one thing leads to another and while winning the trust of the counsel certain events transpire.  These events cause Drake to leave her side and protect another, it’s always bad when Cami and Drake are separated, but it’s for a reason.  There are things that happened in the past that need to be reviewed and corrected and there is only one way of doing that, confronting the gods themselves.

There are a lot of small betrothals/love stories throughout the book, a new one comes to light and old ones are still revisited which is always good because there has to be some side stories to look at as well.  There is a great deal more mythology in this book (which I love); there is definitely action and a wrath of the gods, much more love and some moping.  I don’t want to give too much away because really you should experience it for the first time yourself but this series, this book, this author is all well worth the time.  This definitely was not a book you could predict because when you thought one thing was going to happen something completely different did.

Overall I love this series, I love these characters and I will miss their presence in my reading world.  This is a must read for anyone of any genre because you will fall in love with a new idea, Centaurs. I’m not too fond of this cover only because if that’s supposed to be Drake that’s definitely not how I pictured him but throughout the other covers have been consistent and beautifully done.  I can’t praise this book enough, but it’s hard not giving bits and pieces away because you just want to keep talking about it more in detail.  Go read the book, stop by and let’s chat.

One final note - not a dry eye in the house, perfect ending!
