My rating: <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3982638108">4 of 5 stars</a><br /><br />
I have really enjoyed other books by Jenn Bennett, so I know I had to pick this book up and read it. It did not disappoint me in the least. I loved the characters, all the talk about music. But most importantly I loved the content. There were so many subplots in this book that made you think, there was issues with the family, suspicions about who family was, issues with discovering who you were going to be when you grew up. There were drugs, music, love, hospitals and so much more. This book had a little bit of everything. <br /><br />What I really enjoyed the most was the interactions between Fen and Jane, they had a magnetic unspoken pull to one another, not an insta kind of a love though. Something that slowly burned throughout time, especially on Fen’s side. It was beautiful to read and even though each character had so many issues behind the scenes it’ how they handled it together that mattered the most. Enjoying this book was inevitable. <br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
I saw this cover and read the description and thought ok
this definitely sounds like a book up my alley let me check it out. I’m glad I did because it really wasn’t what I
expected. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Theo as he ventures on to stripping trying to pay
for his daughter’s education, which is a noble thing if you think about it
because he’s being selfless about it. I
really thought the book was going to go somewhere and it eventually did but it
was so typical that I didn’t feel any excitement. It really wasn’t what I expected but then
again the description didn’t go much further than he’s taking a job at Trance. There
was a lot going in in the story, the plot was good I just wish it was a little
more. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I really couldn’t relate to the characters, at times it felt
rushed or like there was way more to the story that could have been told but
there wasn’t. Overall it was an okay
book. I really love the cover, the guy
just looks amazing. I think the ending
is definitely where it gets you. Just when
I was ready to give up on it, it just hooked me back in. The book was interesting, maybe I’ll read the
next one in the series. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

<div class="MsoNormal">
I will say this the other characters in the book they were
questionable at best, I wonder about them, why they strip etc. maybe I really will check out the next book. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
Sometimes you just need a little bit of quick romance in
your life, and this book definitely provided that. It was a dark romance, although I didn’t find
it that dark. There was not a lot of
detail throughout the book and everything was pretty quick. We meet Jason as he’s getting out of jail,
there is a brief flashback as to what happened before he went to jail with his
sister’s best friend. I always love
books that have to deal with siblings best friends, I don’t know maybe it’s the
convenience of having that person around or just that mild attraction that
always seems to form somehow but books about this subject always lure me in. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
He’s back and Ally is everywhere he is, their attraction is
undeniable and they had a few really great moments throughout the book. But I have to say the book was really rushed
through and through. I wanted a little
more emotion, a little more depth to each of the characters, even the sister
Jamie. I felt like they were all
accepting of everything without going into too much detail. Like who is Mac and why is she the way she
is? I want to know more about Jamie, I mean
I know the story wasn’t really about these secondary characters but a little
more history would have been great. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall this was a really quick romance book, something to whet
your appetite but definitely left me wanting more. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
So I’ve seen this author around for a while and have always
wanted to pick up one of her books and I’m so thoroughly thrilled that I finally
had the chance. Rachel Van Dyken is
quite addicting, this book was nothing what I expected. I didn’t think it would flow the way it did
but I was pleasantly surprised.
Definitely a book you should pick up, because it’s worth it.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Emerson and Miller during their high school years
through flashbacks, which I love because sometimes you just need a little bit
of history thrown in to make that story that much more powerful. The two were inseparable but things happened and
as you can imagine they grew apart. Fast
forward a couple years and here they are face to face again, both still very
hurt but both still very much loving each other.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I don’t want to give too much of the plot away because
really you have to read it. Just throw
in a really hot new player into the mix and this love triangle gets more and
more interesting each page you turn. There
was a lot going on this book, not only the romance throughout but also the
different forms of friendship, comraderies, strong connection for being on a
team, family issues and even bullying. This
book touched a little bit upon all of that.
Also status in life, where someone had more than the other, that’s always
a tough subject matter as well. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I enjoyed Emerson’s story, I felt for her throughout the
book she became a real person to me and I could relate to the character as well
as ride the different waves of emotions she was going through. Again it really didn’t end up like I thought
it would like every other typical romance or contemporary I’ve ever read but I was
really pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you
don’t’ really meet your true love in high school, sometimes things have to
happen for you to experience life and then things seem to fall into place
during the hardest time in your life. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
I wholly enjoyed this book.
The cover is absolutely eye catching, after all who doesn’t love a good
love triangle? The story was amazing and
had me so hooked that I had to finish it within 24 hours, I stayed up real late
for this one but I couldn’t put it down.
The setting is great, football players, cheerleaders, best friends, new
friends and life experiences with realities of family thrown in to make it just
that much more realistic. Must read. I want
to talk more about the book but don’t’ really want to give too much away. <o:p></o:p></div>

So when she has the opportunity to pretend to be Blake, she takes it. At Camp Pine Ridge, she will spread her wings and emerge a butterfly. Or at least someone who finally gets kissed by a cute guy. That is, until bad boy Ben Iron Cloud shows up, ready to get revenge on Blake—aka Mallory.<br /><br />If it weren’t for that infuriating girl, Ben wouldn’t even be at camp. Luckily, he now has six weeks to soak up some rays and get even with his nemesis. But the more time he spends with Blake, the more he realizes she’s nothing like the girl he thought she was—she’s kind and innocent and suddenly way too tempting. And soon enough, revenge is the last thing on his mind. <div class="MsoNormal">
Now that summer is coming to an end so is the lovely world
of sleep away camps, and we all know what happens at camps (or at least we can
imagine) a whole lot of shenanigans.
This book did not disappoint in the whole camp pranks that’s for sure. Samantha Bohrman did a great job bringing
this camping experience to life. We met
some interesting characters and had a laugh or two. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Mallory, who is Blake’s identical sister (but she’s
also the one no one notices), she decides to take over Blake’s life for her at
camp. Yes they are pulling the old
switch-a-roo almost parent trap like but not, man I really loved that
movie. Anyway so Mallory wants to come
out and be a different person, someone people will notice and will interact
with her more, little did she know that Blake’s nemesis will also be at the
same camp, Ben. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I really liked the fact that Ben was a Native American, as
you don’t often see that in young adult novels (not included you know what Team
Jacob lol). But it was sad to see that
he really didn’t know much about his heritage to begin with, regardless he was
an interesting character. Especially when
he thought he was dealing with the real Blake and was fooled the whole
time. Oh the regret of those silly,
silly pranks. Although they were quite
funny and unique. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Anyway the dynamic between Mallory and Ben is adorable. They get each other and complement each other
very well, but again there are secrets that are being held and won’t be
revealed until the end, with that as I’m sure you can imagine will be
consequences. Things happen between the
two of them, truths come out and realities are finally in play. It’s what you do with the information you are
given that make you the better person and I think the two of them figured out
exactly what they needed to do with each other. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall I thought the book was a quick and easy fun
read. Perfect for the end of summer,
with a few funny hi-jinks, some very interesting secondary characters and
typical people you would expect to see at camp.
The setting was great, the people were great, just an overall good
book. I really liked the cover too, it
was very eye catching. <o:p></o:p></div>

<span style="font-size: x-large;"><b>Boomerang Boyfriend</b></span><br />
By: Chris Cannon<br />
Release Date: September 11, 2017<br />
Series: Boyfriend Chronicles<br />
<br />
Description:<br />
<div style="background-color: clear; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px;">
Working with her best friend’s brother at Betty’s Burgers, free-spirited Delia starts to see Jack in a new light. Not only has Jack-the-Jerk turned into a hottie, he’s even acting like a niceguy, who rescues dogs and knows how she likes her coffee. But if Jack is into her, then why is he keeping her a secret? Of course, if her best friend doesn’t approve, Delia could lose the only family she’s ever known.</div>
<div style="background-color: clear; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px;">
Seeing Delia in her retro waitress uniform throws Jack’s world out of whack. She’s always been just another pain in the butt little sister...not a datable female. But she’s rockin’ the Pie Princess tiara, and even her hot-pink striped hair is sexy. What’s that about? He needs to get his head on straight, because artsy, funky Delia and her nonconformist ways don’t fit in his safe and ordered world.</div>
<div style="background-color: clear; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px;">

<div style="background-color: clear; line-height: 21px; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px;">
<div class="MsoNormal">
This book was absolutely adorable in every way. Who doesn’t at some point fantasize about
your brother’s best friend? Sometimes the
best things are right in front of you and you don’t even know it. Chris Cannon did a very good job of showing
us this concept in Boomerang Boyfriend.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Zoe and her best friend Delia. Delia is always at
their house because her parents are always working, she’s always around her
brother too, Jack. But they have a
sister/brother vibe, that is until things change and they begin to see each
other in a new light. Many girls
throughout time have always fantasized about their best friend’s brother,
especially if he was older and good looking.
But to see these two awkwardly grown into that stage was adorable. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Jack seems like an average kind of guy, going with the flow
of things although he is going through some things of his own. The book wasn’t very serious but I wouldn’t
have minded if they touched upon some of those feelings a little more. I think it would have bought him out more and
made him a stronger character. Jack was
definitely a little aloof and well very high school boyish. There were times I wanted to smack him upside
the head for being so dense about things, but again he is just a boy. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Delia wasn’t much better either though at times you wanted
to knock some sense into her, although I think this is why I enjoyed the
books. The characters truly seemed like
their age, they didn’t pretend to be older, do more adult things everything was
pretty innocent and adorable and simplistic.
Yes they all had background issues with family or about family but they
didn’t let it rule their lives. Even the
secondary characters such as Aiden had something going for him. It’s hard keeping secrets for friends but
even harder when it starts to disrupt relationships you are trying to grow.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">
</span></span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall the book was good, I liked it. The characters were
believable as high schoolers. The story
was interesting and the read was very quick and fun. I wouldn’t mind finding out more about Jack’s
best friend though, perhaps the next book in the series?<o:p></o:p></div>

But if there’s one thing he’s learned from hockey, it’s that you have to go for what you want, even if it means falling flat on your face. And he’s definitely falling for Malina.<br /><br />Disclaimer: This book contains a hot hockey player who goes after what he wants, a super-hot, super-distracting shirtless workout, and the kind of best friends to lovers romance every girl in the friend zone has dreamed of.</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"> </span><br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
This was an adorably sweet contemporary novel that hit just
the right spot. Erin Fletcher did a
great job bringing us into the world of Malina and Jackson. That time in your life when the big decisions
about the rest of your future are made, and who you want to spend that time
with. It’s a daunting task but it’s
always better when there are people who have your back. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Malina and Jackson, who have been best friends
forever but something just clicks and something else seems to form between the
two of them. You know what they say it’s
very hard for a female and a male to be best friends because there is always
one that may feel just slightly more than the other, and when they both do it’s
a very magical thing. The two of them
are struggling with what will happen next in their lives but they figure things
out together, maybe not the easiest way but the best way for them. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
This book was very fast paced and seemed to move very
quickly through the relationship, but if you think about it they’ve been in a
relationship for many many years since they’ve known each other since probably
elementary school. It went so quickly
because they know each other, they didn’t have to go through the whole learning
phase of getting to know you and what you do and do not like. They already have that in the bag. So of course when they have a big blow out all
the real daggers come out to play.
Because they know exactly where to dig. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall I liked the book, I’m intrigued to see what happened
in the first book and I really can’t wait to see what happens in the next
book. This is a great read if you want
something quick and fun, something that will get your emotions left and right
but still simple young contemporary. I really enjoyed all the family moments
too and this book had me googling Hawaiian food left and right. Really enjoyed it. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
This book really wasn’t what I expected, because it was so
much more than that. I know this is a
series from Wattpad and I will have to look into the rest of the series but
Blair Holden had you hooked from the very beginning. The characters were multi-dimensional and
interesting to say the very least but what really got you was the story. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Tessa and her friends who are constantly bullied by
her ex best friend Nicole, while she is deeply in love and crushing on Nicole’s
boyfriend Jason. This is a classic story
and one that always catches my attention because you just know there will be
jealousy and drama from the get go. But
throw in an even hotter step brother who just also happens to be in love with
someone who doesn’t even suspect it and the book just got a million times more
interesting. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Cole is a bad boy who has terrorized Tessa for most of her
life, little did she know that there was something more to it than just
that. It’s so cute when boys are so
obviously trying to get a girls attention probably not in the best way but it’s
still so noticeable to everyone but the involved parties. Again another classic story but still the way
it was developed throughout the book, bringing him back after being away for a
while and him finally being in touch with what he really feels and knowing how
to express that. Bonus. <o:p></o:p></div>

I really liked all the characters they bought life to this
book and kept me wondering what would happen with them next. It dragged a little in the middle with the
transition of the story continuing but overall I can’t wait to read what
happens next to these characters and how their lives are about to change in
college. <o:p></o:p></div>

Don’t get me wrong I feel like this was almost two short
stories in one because it could have easily stopped with a happy ending for the
two finally getting together, but then it kept going. I was surprised and worried at the same time
like where is this book going to go to next.
The way it ended left me breathless and my heart in pain. You have to read this book from the very
first line to the very last. I am
thoroughly impressed.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
This was a very sweet book, great addition to this
series. Finding out more about the other
band members is always a wonderful thing.
Ali Novak is doing a great job bringing this series to life. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Felicity, who is a very dedicated person trying to
get through her plan for life without any hiccups, but then she discovers the
truth about something and all that goes out the window. Her sister has been missing for a while and
with the help of Alec, a member of the heartbreakers, and oh so scrumptious of
a person she’s on a mission to find her.
Also included are her best friends Asha and Boomer. <o:p></o:p></div>

Alec is a very serious and private person, I guess you can
say he’s like the shy one in the group if you had to stereotype him, he’s very
serious. But with Felicity it’s like he
wants to let himself go. Get out from
under the thumb of people around him.
The two main characters definitely have some familiar struggles just in
different ways, but struggles none the less.
The two help each other overcome these struggles in life and with the
freedom they both desired, or didn’t even know they desired. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
I thought this book was really good, not as much as the first
one but still good in its own right. You
can definitely read it as a stand-alone but it’s good to see the other
characters from the first book blossom throughout the book or more like how
they have blossomed since the first book.
I really enjoyed the book overall.
I was definitely interested in what would happen between Felicity and
Alec, and was quite surprised with a few other characters in the book.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
I will say that I am now interested in researching more origami
especially the hearts, just sounded so cute in the book that I had to look it
up and try it myself. Another great
thing about this book were all the great locations mentioned throughout, it’s
always fun when there is a road trip involved.
Check the book out, it’s a good quick fun easy read. Can’t wait for the next one in the series. <o:p></o:p></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Series: Suttonville Sentinels, #3</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Description:</span><br />
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 12px; outline: none;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Pitcher Dylan Dennings has his future all mapped out: make the minors straight out of high school, work his way up the farm system, and get called up to the majors by the time he’s twenty-three. The Plan has been his sole focus for years, and if making his dreams come true means instituting a strict “ no girls” policy, so be it.</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 12px; outline: none;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Lucy Foster, needlepoint ninja, big sister to an aspiring pitcher, and chicken advocate, likes a little mayhem. So what if she gets lost taking her brother to baseball camp...at her own high school? The pitching coach, some hotshot high school player, obviously thinks she’s a hot mess. Too bad he’s cute, because he’s so not her type. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Problem is, they keep running into each other, and every interaction sparks hotter than the last. But with Dylan’s future on the line, he has to decide whether some rules are made to be broken...</span></div>
<div style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 12px; outline: none;">
<b style="box-sizing: border-box; outline: none;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Disclaimer: This book contains a crazy night of moonlit skinny-dipping, a combustible crush, and kisses swoony enough to unwind even the most Type A athlete.</span></b></div>

<div style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Each book in the Suttonville Sentinels series is a standalone story that can be enjoyed out of order. </span></div>
<div style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Series Order:</span></div>
<div style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Book #1: The Bad Boy Bargain</span></div>
<div style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Book #2: Swinging at Love</span></div>
<div style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Book #3: The Perfectly Imperfect Match</span></div>
<div style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"><b>Review:</b></span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Swoon worthy and adorable, that’s how I can best describe
this book. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">This is my second Suttonville Sentinels books, luckily they
can all be read alone. It was so very
sweet to watch these two characters develop and grow with each other throughout
the book. We meet Lucy who is very out
there and unique in her own right, she likes to sew which is not something
common in young kids these days but it was great to watch and visualize. We also dive into Dylan’s life and his dream
for becoming the next hot baseball star.
These two are very determined people but in different ways. Where one is very low key and leaned back the
other is very strict and regime in the things that they do. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">It was fun to experience the full on attraction of this ying
and yang couple. Sure there were some
hiccups in the road, but it’s how they overcame them that mattered. I loved all the secondary characters like
Tristen and Otis as well as Lucy’s mother. I really felt for her and her family when they
would talk about their father and how they wish he was home from the military
but it’s hard sometimes. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">There were moments in this book where my heart would sink
and soar and I would connect with the characters so much. Life is hard sometimes. Achieving your goals can be even harder, but
it’s that determination and that strength that will always get you there,
sometimes you just have to get sidetracked to get on the right path. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-size: 14px;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I thought this book was overall adorable and sweet. Very realistic it wasn’t insta love but there
was definitely an instant connection between these two characters. I really believe that they needed each other
in so many ways to show each other that there are other things out there
sometimes it’s good to be free and sometimes it’s good to have order. Very quick and easy fun read. Loved the baseball facts throughout the book
and the insight into previous characters as well. </span><span style="color: #666666;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 14px;">

<span style="font-size: 13px;">It’s not chemistry between Tinka Foster and Sam Anderson that made them agree to fake date. With her parents trying to set her up with an annoying student golf coach, and intentionally single Sam’s family pressuring him to bring a date to his brother’s wedding, they could both use a drama-free summer.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: clear; color: #363636; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; margin-bottom: 15px;">
So it’s not his muscular arms and quick wit that makes Tinka suggest they tell everyone they’re both taken. Definitely not. And it’s not butterflies that makes a kiss for appearances during the lake party go on way too long—so long that Sam wishes it were real.</div>
<div style="background-color: clear; color: #363636; font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; margin-bottom: 15px;">
But Tinka keeps people at arm’s length—she’s always been second best, even to her parents. And her relationship-for-show could crush everything when she realizes she’s done with fake, pretend, and second-best.</div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Review:</span></b></div>
<div style="color: #363636; font-family: "helvetica neue", helvetica, arial, sans-serif; margin-bottom: 15px;">
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
I haven’t read anything by <span style="font-family: "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 107%;">Julie Hammerle</span> previously but I have always adored Entangled Crush
books. Ms. Hammerle did not disappoint in
the very least. I think this book was
well written and really sucked the reader into this small town in
Minnesota. I was almost tempted to bring
out some Christmas stuff, after all it is July!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 107%;">We meet Tinka
who is back from boarding school and who has moved to a new town without even
knowing it. Her parents just uprooted
and did all this without her knowledge, as if that wasn’t shock enough she was
going through her own things with her roommate who just happened to come along
for the summer break. This book
definitely had a lot of complicated realistic situations that happen to people
all the time. It was hard to read but
worth the read. Tinka is a strong girl,
but instead of facing her issues head on she tends to run away. You see her grown throughout the book and
finally realize what she’s been doing to herself and others around her. Of course she has help learning this not only
from old friends but from Sam, her neighbor.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 107%;">Sam also has
his own family issues to deal with, he never really stands up for himself and
let people know what’s going on.
Sometimes it’s hard keeping up a façade like that. But together he and Tinka learn to grown as
people with new emotions growing between the two of them.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 107%;">I really can’t
say enough good things about this book. It
was a quick read, very sweet and endearing. I had my heart strings pulled more
than once throughout the book, I really felt invested in the characters and
what they were going through. I just
hope you get a chance to read it and remember how important family and friends
are in your life, and how important it is to always talk to them
truthfully. Letting things go will not
only make yourself feel better but will make those around you understand and
feel better as well. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-size: 13px;">

<div style="font-size: 13px;">
<span style="font-family: "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 107%;">The relationship
between Sam and Tinka was cute, should I or shouldn’t I, is this real or is
this pretend struggle between the two.
It was sweet, and I was rooting for them the entire time. Loved this book, definitely need to go read
the first book in this series just to see how it all began in this small town
in Minnesota. </span><o:p></o:p></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Emme never meant to stay in Maine. She'd come only to find a librarian for her Gram's library, a custodian for the collection of mysterious books she'd promised to protect. On a dark, wintery night, alone in the library, she takes her first glance into one of the antique novels and finds herself transported to 1892 England staring into the eyes of handsome and dashing hero Jack Ridgewell. As each chapter passes she learns you can truly fall in love with a character in a book, that book boyfriends are real and Emme must choose between the real world, and his.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
When the last page is read he's gone and Emme feels the cold loneliness of lost love. Will she find Jack again, or will their love be forever lost? The answer lies within the pages…</div>

<strong><span style="font-size: large;">Excerpt:</span></strong><br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
I spent the rest of the day filing paperwork for the funding process and preparing to open the library doors on Monday morning. I told Rose and Becca to spread the word. Tarryn had decided to move her smaller items in already, and she was asleep by nine the same night. It didn’t seem strange to me that I had a roommate; instead it made me feel comfortable. I never lived alone before, and I would feel lonely otherwise. Tarryn was quiet, but I knew in time she’d get used to me and I’d get used to her. We just needed to get to know each other first.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
Once I was done with the paperwork, I filed the books that were left on the shelf from when Gram was still here. As I placed the classic books on the correct shelves, I felt a longing to finish reading my mysterious book in my nook.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
So, instead of going to bed at a decent hour, I climbed into my cozy space and picked the book back up. I didn’t open it right away. Instead I inspected the outside for any sort of title. I found nothing of the sort. I flipped to the title page once more, trying to find my place, and that’s when I saw the word on the page. It was just a simple “The” typed out on the once blank title page. I ran my finger across it and realized it was printed in ink as if the press had done it. I was sure the night before it was blank, but then again, I was sure my dream about being with a man was real. So I wasn’t really a reliable source at the moment.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
I found the spot where I ended with a dog-eared page. I absolutely hated doing this to the book and didn’t remember it at all. I usually had a nice bookmark, but this seemed to be the only thing to mark the page before I had fallen asleep. Running my fingers across the crease at the corner of the page, I settled back and started reading.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
I woke up once again face down, this time I was in grass. I blinked my eyes and felt the blades of grass tickling my nose and lips. I pulled myself up and took a deep breath. I looked around and saw the fields upon which I had dreamt of the night before. I was back in England. I was dreaming the same dream. How odd.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
There were times when I had thought I had the same dream over and over again, to only find out that it was my mind playing tricks on me. This was no mistake. I was, once again, in the same place.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“Emmeline, are you all right?” I looked up and blocked the sun from my eyes. The man from before was standing in front of me. “You … you disappeared. It happened so fast that I fear I cannot explain to you how it happened. Now you’re here once again.” He sounded really confused and, to put it lightly, so was I.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
This dream felt way too real. It was exactly like before. So real and tangible that I couldn’t explain it even if I tried.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I … I don’t know how I’m here again,” I mumbled.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
He reached out to steady me as I swayed to the side. “You’ve been gone for days. I worried I was going mad, that your presence was one of my imaginings. I dared not to speak a word to anyone about it. I have to admit, Emmeline, I’ve been going slightly crazed since I saw you last.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
His hair was disheveled and he had grown a slight beard that only enhanced the sexiness of his strong jawline. His deep set blue-green eyes looked weary, and for that I felt awful.</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
My sudden disappearance had made him fall apart, that was apparent.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I’ll tell you, I feel like I’m going crazy too. Trust me,” I admitted. “Can we sit somewhere? Out of the sun?”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“Of course.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
He held my arm and led me to a tree in the center of the field. Once underneath the large tree, I felt instantly better. I looked down at my clothes and saw that I was, once again, in my own clothes. This time a little better than before. I was wearing yoga pants and an old T-shirt.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I can’t explain how or why I’m here. Hell, I don’t even know your name, but I’m here again and I’m beginning to think that this isn’t a dream. That I’m really here, with you,” I said as I touched his arm. “I’m not from … here.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
I didn’t know how to explain it to him, but I did the best any girl who was somehow traveling through time could. I didn’t have answers or explanations, but I had a gut feeling.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I’m from a different time as you. As you can tell by my lovely clothing, I’m not from 1893.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
He placed his fingers on my lips, stopping me, while shaking his head.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“This isn’t right, Emmeline. Trickery at a time like this isn’t fair,” he said as he stood up fast. “I am leaving soon. I shall not have you doing this to me.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
My mouth fell open in shock and I stood. “Do something to <i>you</i>? Listen here, buddy, I didn’t ask for this. I sat down to read a book and then <i>boom</i>, I’m stuck in England with a stranger.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
I pointed at myself. “Look at me. Do I really look like I belong here?”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
He looked at my clothing and up to my hair, and I could see his cheeks redden.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“You are dressed very indecent, I suppose. No woman I’ve ever met wears trousers. Nor do they wear clothing that <i>fitting</i>.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
I laughed. He thought <i>this</i> was indecent, he should see some of the dresses I had worn to parties. They were nothing like the dresses he was used to seeing on a woman. We absolutely didn’t dress ladylike anymore. My sexy little black dress that currently hung in my closet would definitely shock some of the people of this era for sure.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I don’t know why I’m here. I’m absolutely not trying to, I don’t know, hurt you or anything. I don’t know how to go home.” I slumped back against the tree. “I wish that I could prove to you that I’m not lying to you, but I cannot. You’ll have to just believe me, I guess.” It was as simple as that. He could either believe this bat-shit crazy explanation or not. One way or another, I didn’t care. I just wanted to go home.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I don’t know why, Emmeline, but I feel as if I should say that I do believe you.” He ran a hand through his thick hair, mussing it up. “I just don’t know how else to explain your abrupt presence. One minute you are here and the next you’re disappearing into thin air. I read many books on fiction, so I <i>suppose</i> it could be true.”</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“Well, I may know someone who knows something. She works for the lucky bastard that owns that house,” I told him pointing to the house where Nancy was the last time I saw her. She was probably cooking something again for her master.</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
He smiled. “That house?”</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“Yes. Her name is Nancy.”</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“Ah. Nancy. And who is this Nancy woman you speak of?” He continued to smile as if this was a joke, but I ignored it.</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“She’s a cook. I met her on my last visit here,” I explained. “She’s not the nicest person I’ve ever met, but I think she has some answers.”</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
</div>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
</div>
</blockquote>
<br />
<blockquote>
<div class="CHBBStyle">
“I must argue that Miss Nancy is more than a cook. She’s also the lady upon with which I trust my household while I’m gone. She’s more of an aunt than a housekeeper,” he said as he took my hand in his. “It’s very nice to finally introduce myself to you, Emmeline Bailey. I’m Jack Ridgewell or you may just call me the lucky bastard.”</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
Ahh, Nicole Williams has done it again. She has succeeded in giving me all the
necessary fills throughout a book. This
was a ride I would go on again, the book was just flat out amazing. The character interactions, the emotions, the
real life scenarios, it was just beautiful.
Trust, it’s a hard thing to get back, but it’s an important thing to
have with anyone. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Phoenix, which when you finish the book couldn’t
have been a more perfect name for the main character, who is on her way to
spend the summer at a family camp, with her disastrous family. She doesn’t have too much of any high hopes
that this vacation will be any good especially with all the background drama
happening with her family. But being
young, you really have no choice but to go along. This is where she meets
Callum. He’s quite the enigma himself,
keeping to himself but somehow she breaks down through some of those
barriers. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The relationship the develop is very sweet and endearing,
gives you high hopes that there are good things out there in life for us, but
it’s their trust and sometimes lack of trust in one another that made their
relationship just so real and believable.
I felt for them, and I was rooting for them throughout the whole
book. There were moments that made me
smile, moments that made me sad and broke my heart and then of course moments
that just outright made me cry throughout this book but those moments they shared
gave me butterflies, and those are the best kinds of moments. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
This book not only talked about romance, and love but it was
about family. Trusting your family and
making sure your family trusted you. It was
a beautiful story to show this dynamic, everything isn’t always perfect but it’s
how you perceive and work through those issues that make you the family you
are. It will bring everyone closer
together. Don’t get me wrong I loved the
scenes between Callum and Phoenix, but those moments with her mom and her dad,
and the precious ones with her brother, those are the memories I will keep the dearest
to me from this book. Family is
everything. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I will definitely give some high praise to this book because
trust and lies sometimes they go hand in hand, and sometimes you just have to
learn why someone did what they did to get clarity on everything. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I loved the characters in the book, the scenery with it
being at camp, and it being summer and all.
I really enjoyed reading through the different situations that took
place in the book, again very believable and realistic, and dare I say may even
be helpful to some who read it. Sometimes
you just have to remember that sometimes people do certain things in your best
interest, even if you don’t see it that way at first.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Go read this book! It’s worth it and you will not regret it. It really touched my heart and to that I thank
the author, Nicole Williams, who has yet to let me down in any story of hers
that I’ve read. <o:p></o:p></div>

She’s funny, beautiful—even though she doesn’t know it—and my favorite kind of weird. But I can’t tell if she’s into me or just trying to get close to me for a chance with my famous twin brother instead. I mean, it has to be me. I am the better-looking one.<br /><br />But Kassidy has some demons, and she’s not good at letting people in. That happens when you’ve been hurt by someone close to you. I can relate. Trust is a funny thing; it’s hard to gain but easy to lose. I might just learn that the hard way.<br /><br /><b>Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book includes a snarky heroine, a swoon-worthy hero, crazy best friends, your favorite music, and lots of feels.</b></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"> </span><br />

<div class="MsoNormal">
Sometimes it’s really hard being a teenager, and when there
are other factors in your life preventing you from fully being yourself it
makes life even harder. I think that
Amber Garza did a really great job showing the different sides to teenagers and
just people in general today. Sometimes
there are factors out of your control. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Kassidy (great name by the way) who is out with her
sister and trying to pretty much get her life back on track. She’s starting a new school and trying to
find herself after her breakup with all her friends at her old school. Of course she just happens to run into a guy
at a concert and one thing leads to another and they really hit it off. I think this is a fantasy of many teenage
girls, to find a guy at a concert who just so happens to be related to the band
or at least knows someone. I know when I
was younger I used to fantasize about things like that. Anyway back to the story, it just so happens
they go to the same school and he’s going to show her around.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I don’t really want to expand on the story to much because
you should really check it out. But the
interaction between these two and their friends is quite fun to
experience. There is a bit of jealousy
going on that I think anyone would feel and then of course all the backstory
with Kassidy comes out in little pieces here and there. It’s interesting and difficult to live
through her panic attacks, and understand what she’s going through but at the
same time I think it’s something we definitely need to learn to
understand. These are some serious illnesses,
thoughts and things that happen to these kids and it will just make you a
better person for reading about them and experiencing it through their
eyes. Especially because the author did
such a great job describing them.<o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
This was really a great book overall and I think anyone
would enjoy it. I love the cover I think
it’s sweet and endearing and I’m totally rooting for these two to live happily
ever after. Great quick read with some
serious undertones.</div>

By: Crystal Cestari<br />
Release Date: May 16, 2017<br />
Series: Windy City Magic #1<br />
<br />
Description:<br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">Amber Sand is not a witch. The Sand family Wicca gene somehow leapfrogged over her. But she did get one highly specific magical talent: she can see true love. As a matchmaker, Amber's pretty far down the sorcery food chain (even birthday party magicians rank higher), but after five seconds of eye contact, she can envision anyone's soul mate.</span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">Amber works at her mother's magic shop--Windy City Magic--in downtown Chicago, and she's confident she's seen every kind of happy ending there is: except for one--her own. (The Fates are tricky jerks that way.) So when Charlie Blitzman, the mayor's son and most-desired boy in school, comes to her for help finding his father's missing girlfriend, she's distressed to find herself falling for him. Because while she can't see her own match, she can see his--and it's not Amber. How can she, an honest peddler of true love, pursue a boy she knows full well isn't her match?</span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;" />
<i style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">The Best Kind of Magic</i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"> is set in urban Chicago and will appeal to readers who long for magic in the real world. With a sharp-witted and sassy heroine, a quirky cast of mystical beings, and a heady dose of adventure, this novel will have you laughing out loud and questioning your belief in happy endings.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;"><b>Review</b>:</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
This was definitely a different kind of book then I’m used
to. I haven’t read anything paranormal
in quite some time but the description and name of the book rally caught my
eye. It was overall cute and
entertaining take on the paranormal world and all the different types of
inhabitants. I think the author did a
wonderful job bringing you into this world throughout the city of Chicago with its
magical tendencies. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Amber, a matchmaker, who is just trying to go
through the motions of life and hoping that one day she will be matched. Her best friend is a precog, who can tell the
future, but they’ve made a pact not tell about each other’s lives. Which is all well and dandy for them but then
a third party comes in and needs their help, or more specifically Amber’s
help. Charlie, the mayor’s son, and
quite the catch around town and especially in their school. He’s on a mission to find someone who is
missing and has requested the help of Amber Sand. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
They are adorable together, you see many different paranormal
throughout the book and I like that Charlie really isn’t that affected by
everything, if anything he thinks it’s pretty great that these beings exist and
that he didn’t even know about it. I
also enjoy that the Amber’s nemesis Ivy (who is an enchantress basically) has
no effect on Charlie as well. It’s fun
to watch all their interactions.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The book flowed very nicely and there was a bit of intrigue
and even though everything was answered at some point in the book I can’t wait
to find out what really happens next. I mean with Amani and her match of course,
you’ll see what I’m talking about. It all
sounds really interesting and I can’t wait to dig in, hopefully it’s the next
book in the series. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
I liked the setting, the location, the people, and the
situations they got themselves into.
There must be something in the air a lot of paranormal books tend to
take place in places like Chicago, that must be a hub for real paranormal, note
to self, go to Chicago to scope the place out. <span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">J</span>
I like the cover it’s very cute simple, interesting and mysterious. The book was in whole a great book to read
and quick and easy, can’t wait to see what happens next. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
This was a great concept, more like several ones put
together in just the right way that made this story both interesting and
slightly addicting. Sarah Darlington did
a great job bringing these characters to life and making the reader feel like
they were experiencing the same emotions as them. I love books that bring you deep into their
world.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Ben after his ultimate return back into society
after some very unfortunate events in his life, but he’s trying to make things
right. This is of course when he runs
into his old neighbor or at least who he thinks is his neighbor. Getting to know each other once again is a beautiful
thing. Of course that’s not really his
neighbor though and Juniper has quite the story behind her as well. I don’t really want to tell much about it,
but it’s interesting as all hell and quite a great reason to get away from your
old life. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The two of them tend to spend more time with one another and
their feelings grow, the truths come out eventually but it’s the getting there
that brings them even closer together. It
was endearing watching the two of them get more and more comfortable with each
other and let things go. It’s hard when
you have pasts like they do but it’s the overcoming of them that make you the
person you are today. The two of them
really worked well together and the author did a wonderful job of bringing them
to life. I know I couldn’t put the book
down and couldn’t wait to see what happens next. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
As always the ending was very intense and exciting. There was a bit of romance in this book,
abuse, overcoming fears, moving on in life, emotions galore but in the end
happiness and joy prevailed over it all.
This book was interesting, great story plots, even though I wouldn’t
have minded hearing more about them I think I’m going to have to go back into
the series for that though. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

I’ve always hated reading books out of order, but this was
sent to me by the author for a review and after reading the blurb I just couldn’t
resist and agreed. But of course now I feel
the utter need to go back and read all the previous books because I just got
invested in all these really great characters and now I have to know their
stories as well. I really need to know what happened to them all, like need-need. <o:p></o:p></div>

Overall the book was great, quick easy, light read, sure
there were some intense moments but even still it was a quick read. You couldn’t help but want to finish it right
away and of course read more. I love the
cover, it’s very simple and the guy definitely looks like the Ben I pictured
throughout the book. Liked that he’s on
the sand, kind of like when he came back to life. You’ll have to read to know what I’m talking
about. Go read, it’s fundamental!<o:p></o:p></div>

<b>Review:</b><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
This was an interesting book to say the least. I’ve always in my younger days dreamed of
going to concerts and becoming friends with the talent, hanging out and doing
all these great things. But it’s not
always as easy as it seems and Chris Russell did a great job of portraying that
throughout this book. Yeah it’s all fun
and games but there is always a story behind anyone’s façade. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Charlie Bloom, seems to be a quiet person with her
best friend Melissa, they tend to keep to themselves most of the time. But that doesn’t stop the mean girls from
getting up in their face so there is quite a bit of bullying in this book which
I wouldn’t mind teaching Aimee a lesson or two to bring her down a peg or
twenty. There is always that one person
who thinks they are better than everyone else.
Those are the people that need to be humbled the most. This book is not
mainly about bullying, there is also friendship, family, love, letting go,
letting in and betrayal. Betrayal
happens to us all at one point it’s about how you deal with it that makes you
the person you are. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Olly knows Charlie from school way back when and invites her
on tour with his pop group to take photographs, one thing leads to another and
Charlie forms friendships and more with some of the other members. Its great watching the interaction between
her and all the members, you really start to get to know them all and love them
all the same. Sure sometimes I wish she
would end up with other people but I don’t know why it happens for some reason
they always fall for the bad boy instead of the good guy. Charlie is drawn to the fire and not the
light. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall I thought this book was good and it kept me
interested the whole way through, I thought the ending and close to the ending
was the best parts. The heightened drama
and emotions I went through reading them were really great. I was super shocked in some parts and sad in
others, an epitome of an emotional rollercoaster. But it was good and that’s what kept me going
from beginning to end. There are times
when I wonder why not the good guy, but sometimes things have a way of sorting
themselves out that you can’t help but say well now that explains a lot. Great book. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
I love the cover, so sweet innocent and simple, but still
eye catching. Great writing and overall
just a great story. <o:p></o:p></div>

cello-playing client. If Tatum is reading his emails right, her virtual Prince

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Review:</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">This was a really great debut for Christina June. This isn’t your typical YA book, sure there
are YA characters in it but it’s not about insta love, crushes, and all that romantical
stuff. No, this book was about reality,
family, forgiveness, and understanding and finding out the person you are and
want to become. It’s not a comping of
age story but more of a coming of understanding story. It really was endearing. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">We meet Tate as she’s about to experience something
unexpected and completely not her fault, but here she is at the wrong place at
the wrong time with the wrong people and things happened. Because of this one event everything just
starts to tumble downhill, or does it? She’s
been accused of something she didn’t do and now she is suffering those
consequences by doing community service and being under the strict eye of her
stepmother while her dad is away. Things
have never been easy for Tate and Belen, there’s always been something keeping
Tate from understanding her stepmother.
That is until this summer of course, the same could go for her
stepsister Tilly. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Throughout the book you watch as Tate continues to grow as a
person, outside of her normal bubble. Learns
how to interact with new people, learns that she is really good at something
that can help her make a better future for herself. She also learns about the importance of
family and trust. There are so many
great things about this book but I don’t really want to give the plot away too
much because it’s something you should definitely pick up and read for
yourself. Don’t worry there is a bit of
flirting and romance that will make you feel very hopeful for Tate. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div style="background: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in; outline: none;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Tate was an overall relatable character, she could very well
have been a friend of yours and her experiences are all based in realistic
terms. There are no rainbows and
unicorns in this book, just the nitty gritty truth and that’s what I liked most
about it. Yes there were some definite
Cinderella undertones, but it wasn’t even about that. (Because we all know how Cinderella turned
out) This book gave you more of a view into Tate and her families’ lives and
bought you the understanding that sometimes you just have to look at things
from a different perspective. Great
book!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
This was an absolutely loveable contemporary novel and a
great start to a series. We meet some
really great characters who go through some tough times in their young
lives. It’s not always easy being young
and going through things that are unexpected and unwanted, sometimes these
things happen and they aren’t your fault but you are in them and you learn to
deal with them.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Karen who just went through a major loss and is now
stuck with the family she never knew. I
know something like this can be tough for both sides of the family, but I think
you always have to remember that it’s not the child’s fault, it’s the parent
who is at fault. There was a lot of
hostility going around when she first arrived, which is not something easy to
handle especially after her own situation.
But luckily she runs into someone unexpectedly who helps her sort
through her own feelings. This is where
we meet Mr. Squirrel wrangler himself, Tyler.
<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Tyler is going through his own demands in his life coming
from his own family. It’s tough being on
a major hockey team and possibly going pro, the people around you tend to try
and ride your coattails, it’s even worse when it’s your own family. Again he has his own demons to deal with and
with Karen by his side, they work through things. There were a lot of serious issues if you dig
down deep between everyone in this book but its how they handled them that
showed the kind of people they could be.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
It was a very addicting book and I read it faster than I’ve
read any book before because I really felt for the characters, they were relatable
to my life in some ways and that helped.
Just remember it’s how you deal with things in life that make you the
person you are, so suck it up buttercup cause life isn’t fair sometimes. So after reading the third book in this
series, I just had to go ahead and read them all. I’m so happy I did, because I had no idea
about the other characters and was just dying to know what happened to them or
what is going to possibly happen to them, since it already happened. Starting from the beginning was definitely the
right place to go. I’m off to the next
book!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I love this cover by the way it’s sweet. But I do have to
say I never heard of these two characters skating together, still super cute
cover. <o:p></o:p></div>

to be good. This book didn’t disappoint. There is always trouble when you start
pretending, things happen, feelings happen or more like feelings that were deep
down finally come out into the light. Sure it was a little weird who bought this to
their attention, well at least Toby’s but it’s for a reason and I loved it!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

<div class="MsoNormal">
This was a quick and easy fun read from beginning to
end. You couldn’t help but not like
Scott, but then in the end he semi redeemed himself. You just never know what someone is going
through in their lives. They may act one
way and they may seem on way but in reality it’s just all a façade for
something that is happening in their lives that they don’t want to talk
about. I think that’s a great message in
this book. You have to be forward and
express who and what you really are not just hide behind an attitude or
persona. <o:p></o:p></div>

You know how much I love my Entangled Crush books, and I found
this one and I just couldn’t resist the description sold me. I am completely reading these books out of
order, I don’t know why it just happened to work out that way, but regardless
of that I love this series! The
characters are great the plot is fun and sweet.
I really want to find out more about the other Raiders and what has
happened with them. Again, very quick
easy fun and just loveable series. I love
the cover, it’s super cute and eye catching.
Adorable! I would take any of these Raiders any day! <o:p></o:p></div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Review:</span></b><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
I haven’t read a book this exhilarating and with this many
twist and turns in so long that I was loving the ride, this book was
amazing! I genuinely wanted to know what
was going to happen next and all I can say is … that ending though!!! WTH. Amazeballs, I really don’t know what else to
say it was just a shock, I need to know what happens next!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet an agoraphobic person named Tessa, who had something
happen to her, but we don’t know what.
She can’t step foot out of her house and her mom and boyfriend just try
to handle it to the best of their ability but its rough. Then we meet a mega popstar who lately has
been so afraid of his own shadow because fan girls are well sometimes too much
for him. There is a fear there that
something will happen to him. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The book is told through twitter, dm’s, interrogation
transcripts and of course personal thoughts of both parties. Their relationship was interesting the way it
grew from conversations, the word catfish was thrown around quite a bit, and it’s
sad but it happens a lot this day and age especially with all the social media
outlets out there it’s so easy just to steal someone’s identity. Regardless this book put a spotlight on how
some people can take things too far. It was
very intense at some moments, I found myself googling a lot of words that were
said in this book, lots of psychobabble as Eric states, but it’s
interesting. Crazy, but
interesting. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The fear of being watched is astonishing when it comes to
social media, so Eric definitely has a right to feel this fear. We as regular, normal people don’t often
think about how the famous feel, sure they have money, but they never have
privacy and sometimes that’s worth more than money. Same goes with Tessa. Her fear is real too, there are stalkers out
there, you may not even notice but that feeling it never goes away. Ah there is so much I want to say about this
book but I don’t want to give too much away.
This book comes out in June, I know two months away just keep it on your
mind, add it to your list because you are going to want to read this. If you haven’t already. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
There are so many twists and turns throughout the book. I loved the way it was written in different
formats but still telling everyone’s side of the story of what was happening in
their lives. Super intense, super fascinating
and just in general great writing. I can
definitely say I would read more from this author, the story flowed easily and
you couldn’t help but turn the page fast enough to see what was going to happen
next. I can see this as a movie one day
with a major cliffhanger. OMG that
ending, I just can’t get over it. I
loved the two characters, finding the honesty and love within one another and
sharing that together. It was sweet, but
oh so worth the wait. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I loved the setting, the characters, the plot, but omg that
ending! Must read, nuff said! I have to
say also it was a very unique story, haven’t read anything like this before,
bonus in my world. I know the next book
doesn’t come out until next year but I don’t know if I can wait that long to
find out what happens!!!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
You know I don’t usually reread my reviews and I usually put
them up literally right after I finish reading a book, and I have no idea what’s
going on in my mind right now because this book just blew me away. I’m still trying to calm down, let me go read
that ending again!!!<o:p></o:p></div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Review:</span></b><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
This was an absolutely adorable quick read that had me
rooting for the main characters. They
are adorable together, because really if you think about it, having a fake
boyfriend at any time will always lead to some kind of trouble at some
point. It also makes for a very
entertaining book and Rebekah L. Purdy did a really great job bringing these
characters to life. It was all very
realistic and kind of sweet. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Ayla, the theater geek who just wants to make a
change in her school and she has a brilliant plan to make that happen. You know blackmail the hottest jock there is
to date you so you can get more votes.
Can we say super entertaining because really how often can that
happen? It’s really interesting because
in reading books like these you always think of these two people who couldn’t
be more different, who don’t run in the same circles whatsoever but they always
turn out to be quite brilliant when they are together. So I have to ask, why can’t we let stereotypes
fall to the ground and be open with one another? Ok, I officially have gone off on a
tangent. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Luke, the hot popular jock is just trying to get by day by
day, trying to take care of his family because they aren’t the best (well
specifically his mom). And we all know
sometimes this happens more times than necessary, but it happens. I loved how the author bought his reality
well to life, sometimes things aren’t always as peachy keen as we think they
are and sometimes the ugly needs to come out before anything good can
happen. I loved the domesticity of this
book and the different scenarios plaid throughout by different characters. No two lives are exactly the same but we can
all still get along, well most of us, can’t same the same for Jack and
Jenna. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I didn’t really want to give too much about the plot, but
there is some great scenery in this book as well. The characters were developed and you just
started falling in love with them the more you read, especially Luke. There is a lovability about Luke and Ayla
that you can’t resist. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall I really loved the plot, the emotions between the
two main characters and the supporting cast as well. It’s always nice when the best friends get
together and conspire in the background to keep you altogether too. It’s cute, it was adorable, and overall very
sweet. Even the cover is just perfect too, because I would definitely pick this
up based on the cover and buy it based on the description. Although the book really didn’t have a lot of
blackmailing, he seemed pretty willing and able throughout the book, it was a
great way for the two of them to get together.
Sometimes you just never know who it is that will tickle your fancy.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Go check out this new Entangled Crush novel, it’s worth it! Read it! It’s quick, it’s fun, it’s funny, it’s
sweet and will definitely make you want to eat pizza, and maybe even some
cheesy garlic knots. Just saying!<o:p></o:p></div>

<b>A Fangirl Fairy Tale</b><br />
By Ashley Poston<br />
Release Date: April 4, 2017<br />
<br />
Description:<br />
Geek girl Elle Wittimer lives and breathes Starfield, the classic sci-fi series she grew up watching with her late father. So when she sees a cosplay contest for a new Starfield movie, she has to enter. The prize? An invitation to the ExcelsiCon Cosplay Ball, and a meet-and-greet with the actor slated to play Federation Prince Carmindor in the reboot. With savings from her gig at the Magic Pumpkin food truck (and her dad’s old costume), Elle’s determined to win…unless her stepsisters get there first.<br />
<br />
Teen actor Darien Freeman used to live for cons—before he was famous. Now they’re nothing but autographs and awkward meet-and-greets. Playing Carmindor is all he’s ever wanted, but Starfield fandom has written him off as just another dumb heartthrob. As ExcelsiCon draws near, Darien feels more and more like a fake—until he meets a girl who shows him otherwise. But when she disappears at midnight, will he ever be able to find her again?<br />
<br />
Part romance, part love letter to nerd culture, and all totally adorbs, Geekerella is a fairy tale for anyone who believes in the magic of fandom.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Review:</span></b><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">One of my ultimate favorite fairy tales has always been
Cinderella, there is just something so special about someone from rags to
riches, the struggle they go through, the drama they overcome. Ashley
Poston did a wonderful job with Geekerella in showcasing this beautiful fairy
tale in the best way, and a unique theme. <o:p></o:p></span><o:p></o:p></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">We’ve all at one point in our lives been a fangirl or fanboy about
something or someone, and for Elle it’s all about Starfield. It was something special that she shared with
her father, so of course she will hold it near and dear to her. Her connection is very strong and of course
her stepmother, let’s call her evil, doesn’t understand that connection and
will always try and deter her from it. But after finding some cosplay outfits
in the closet, and with the remake of Starfield coming out soon she couldn’t
help but get even deeper into this culture.
<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Speaking of remakes, that’s where we meet Darien, who is starring
in the new remake. Think dark, sexy and
so not right for the part in some people’s eyes. But still he tries, it’s his fanboy thing, he’s
always adored Starfield. But let’s not
get too much into the story after all you have to read it. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">I really enjoyed their interactions, its Cinderella in the modern
times through text. There were a lot of
the best parts of Cinderella in this story and it just made me love this book
that much more! I think Elle was a great
character, she had some struggles but in the end, when she finally let people
into her life, she realized just how strong she could be. I sympathized with her throughout the book,
and her new friend Sage, she was just a kick ass girl too. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Darien, he too had his own struggles, sure we know that the guys
in fairy tales have problems but you never really dive into them too much and I
loved that we really got to see this story from both points of view. Sometimes the hero’s and love interest in
books also have things going on, struggles they are trying to deal with,
backstabbers and liars they have to go through before they can get the
girl. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">I loved the plot, I can’t really express that enough and once you
start reading you just can’t put it down.
You keep thinking about it throughout your day like yes I completely
understand girl, and yes I too feel the same way sometimes. I don’t know why but by the end of the book I
was like revenge of the nerds and Cinderella had a baby and this is it, but so
much more. I always go to revenge of the nerds when geek is such a strong
theme. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">This was a too cute book, and you need to go read this. You will get sucked in and wish that you too
could see Starfield and get educated on it.
The cover is very cute and simple, love that the food truck is a
pumpkin. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="MsoNormal">
I’ve always been interested in things about breakdancing,
the culture, the people, the dancing, it’s all pretty crazy and an exciting
lifestyle. After movies like Step Up and
any dance movie really you can’t help but wonder about that world. I’ve always loved hip hop so it goes hand in
hand so when I saw there was a series that was written all about breakdancing
and the people in it I couldn’t resist, I knew I had to read them all. S. Briones Lim did an amazing job bringing
this culture to life in her books. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
To start the series off we meet Aurora who is an ex gymnast, after a big fall
she couldn’t help but move away to find something new to fill the void and fear
she feels after her incident. She moves
away to a new college to try and find herself and what she’s going to do with
the rest of her life. She’s pretty
bitter in the beginning of the book, but I think it’s that bitterness that made
her such a fierce character. Especially
after she has a run in with cocky Mitch Adachi, aka Kickwit. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Mitch isn’t the type of person to run away from a challenge
and he knew that Aurora had something special, it was just breaking through to
her layer by layer that made them such an interesting couple. They definitely felt as if they fed off each
other in the best way possible. But
still the competitor in both of them did get them in a slight bit of trouble,
but still it was the good kind of trouble.

<div class="MsoNormal">
This first book really focused a lot on break-dancing and the
life of a b-boy, the utter cockiness they have, but also the realness of the
sport. It was really interesting to
watch the characters grow and realize their worth. Also to get rid of their fears and move on
with their lives, sometimes facing those fears are the hardest things, but once
they are faced there is no better victory. I thoroughly enjoyed all the
characters, the dance moves exhibited throughout the book and the friendships that
were formed. </div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
Yet another really great book by S. Briones Lim, we come
back to the world of break-dancing, but this time from a completely different perspective. Sure there is still some really great
dancing, but this time we have someone who is so completely out of their
element that makes this book so much more entertaining. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
We meet Estelle, who besides the fact that she’s described
as Mila Kunis lookalike is a complete wallflower. She’s never been anywhere or done
anything. She’s ready to get out of her
studious comfort zone and experience college the way it’s supposed to be
experienced. Of course she take several
bad advice from her roommates but everything happens for a reason. Estelle is briefly shown the world of
break-dancing, and she falls in love, practically drooling, especially over one
b-boy in particular. Spinja. What a great B-boy name!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
The cover I don’t even think does him justice by the way I picture
him in my mind but Estelle is one lucky person!
At first he completely seeks her out but things happen and other people
are in the way that you just can’t help but try and root for these two to
finally realize what’s right in front of them.
How this differs from the first book is that not only does this book
take place in college, but it fast forwards a couple years when they are out in
the real world living their adult lives.
I love that this series is not stuck in one timeline but explores
different ones. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
It’s very hard to make it after college, especially doing
something like b-boying but one thing leads to another and Spinja and Estelle
meet again. The two of them were
intriguing and I loved that they were locked in an office for what seemed
forever. I couldn’t help but love the
fact that throughout the book it went back and forth from past to present and I
was itching to find out exactly how they got into their current predicament. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
Overall this was another great story in the B-boy world,
with really great characters overall.
This bought you a whole different view on relationships, careers and of
course what could happen in the future, you just never know who you will run
into. The world is a very small
place. Love this book and the cover, and
Spinja I don’t know it’s like I have a soft spot in my heart for the B-boy with
such a big heart!<o:p></o:p></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="MsoNormal">
The third book in the series bought out even more great
characters, both in and out of the break dancing culture. S. Briones Lim did a great job developing
two characters who both needed each other but didn’t even know it. The jinx is alive, or is it? Maybe we should go to a psychic consultant to
get it fixed? Really loved this book. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Hellhound, aka Hollywood because to everyone in the
underground b-boy circuit he is a sellout, but hey sometimes you have to make a
living right. Then there is Mallory who
is all about the perfectionism of her music on the piano, but even with being
perfect there is something about her that is holding her back,
performance. Anyway the two have an amazing night, but it’s
what happens afterwards that is the best part.
<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Asher is doomed, he is off his game and he can’t explain
why. I don’t know why men always have to
take it to the extreme but they do and Asher is no different, the only thing he
did differently was meet Mallory and hook up with her. Of course this then makes her a jinx, and he
needs to figure out how to get rid of this jinx he has going on for him. This is where things get weird between them
going to different places and different people just to get rid of the jinx, it’s
funny sometimes. Personally I always
think it’s just in people’s minds, but hey what do I know, it’s not like I am a
supernatural consultant. Hilarious!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Anyway the more time Mallory and Asher spend together, they
realize things about themselves. Being
together makes them stronger, they can conquer their fears and insecurities and
that is what this book is really all about.
Getting over it, and doing it together as a team. I think the relationship these two have is
aspiring really. I don’t think there was
that much or as much b-boying as there was in the first book, but there was definitely
a really great story none the less!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall what an amazing series, I absolutely love each and
every one of the covers because the boys and the girls look so perfect and
definitely how I pictured the characters if not close to it. The settings are great, I love how the books
did mention old characters especially during different battles. Really great series, I think they can all be
read as stand alone, but really why you would I don’t know, because then you wouldn’t
get the experience or culture of all the different b-boys out there. I’m not going to lie, I really went and
looked up some of these break dancing moves.
Impressive stuff!<o:p></o:p></div>

<span style="font-size: x-large;"><b>Falling for the Bad Girl</b></span><br />
By: Nina Croft<br />
Release Date: February 27, 2017<br />
<br />
Description:<br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">As a second generation detective, Nathan Carter is a cop, through and through, one who definitely sees things in black and white. But his work ethic—and libido—are thrown off balance when he heads up the case against jewel thief, Regan Malloy. Because with one sizzling look, she’s got him hot and hard. And he’s been that way, ever since.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">Growing up, Regan’s favorite hobby was learning to crack safes, and she was very, very good at it. Still, she’d always tried to keep to the straight and narrow, and only strayed when she believed a friend was in desperate straits. Now she’s out of prison and starting over. If only she could forget that she’d spent the last three years fantasizing about the stunningly gorgeous detective who locked her away.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , serif; font-size: 14px;">It’s inevitable that they meet up again—in bars, hotels…and hotel beds. Despite their differences, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Still, it’s just desire. If they give it enough time, it’ll burn itself out. Because a good boy and a bad girl can’t possibly make it work. Can they?</span><br />

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Review:</span></b><br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Oh the beautiful story of good vs bad, of two people who
find each other irresistible but know they shouldn’t be together because of all
the factors in their lives, but they turn out to be the yin to their yang. It’s inevitable. It’s destined in the stars. That’s how I feel about the two characters in
this new Nina Croft novel. It’s bound to
happen and who cares if one is a cop and one is a criminal, things happen and
sometimes they happen for the best. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We meet Regan as she’s coming out of jail and the guy who
helped put her in there is outside watching.
It’s an obsession, they had a connection at some point but for obvious
reasons no one acted on it. That is,
until she got out. Now it’s all Nate can
think about, and Regan isn’t that far behind either. Their relationship isn’t the most ideal but
the two together have an undeniable chemistry.
They want to pursue something but at the same time they want to keep
their lives very separate from one another.
It’s a lot easier said than done.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
This book had a lot of undertones about trust, and family
and going through things together rather than alone. Sometimes you need that person to back you up
and help you see the light in certain situations and I think that’s what they
were to one another, but it’s difficult because again there were a lot of trust
issues, one being a cop the other a criminal.
There were also other factors in their lives keeping them from
completely committing, such as Regan’s family of criminals. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I love that this book was set in Europe, but I didn’t even
realize it until a little bit into the book.
Then I started doing everything in an English accent in my mind while I read
it. Which anything with an accent is
just that much more enjoyable, right? <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
Overall the book was a great read, a little slow in the
middle but once it started picking up I just couldn’t put it down and had to
finish it as soon as possible. My
favorite part will always be the family scenes because they were just too funny
and I can completely picture them in my mind.
I enjoyed the characters, it wasn’t too raunchy which I enjoyed and the
story was good. Good vs bad can’t go
wrong with that, although I really wouldn’t call Regan that bad, just at the
wrong time and place with the wrong person and things happened.<br />
